The waitress I got was really sweet and suggested a few dishes as well.
I ordered mac and cheese with broccoli since it was the chefs special that day, it was okay. Not that great. I've had better at Panera bread! The dish needs a little improvement.
Service was great food par. Music way to loud can't hear each other to talk. I love music and love it loud, but not when trying to talk to friends. While the main entree is Mac and cheese based and each combo sound nice but are at best par. Portions are extremely large but would prefer better quality and smaller portion. Not being able to talk while dinning will not return
Chad, the bartender, was very friendly, attentive. Mac n cheese is outstanding. Fun, casual environment. Great locally owned bar/restaurant. Will be back!
I go to the moonies in corning alot and it takes 20 minutes to get my food. This one I ordered at 12:02. At 12:50 I asked for my bill so I could leave because our food was still not out. Our waiter called over the manager. They proceeded to tell me that I didn't not place my order until 12:23. They also said it takes longer for Mac and cheese orders. Isn't this a mac and cheese place? I will never go back to this place and I will think long and hard before going to the one in corning now. Why a disappointment! !!
I got some onion petals and mooneys loaded fries. I loved the onion petals, they were similar to onion rings. The loaded fries however, were doused with so much salted cheese it was impossible to eat more than a few.
All in all the ambience is really good. I just feel that the mac and cheese is a bit over rated, place is overpriced.
Two weeks of calls and texts to set up a reward for my youth group at 6pm and now they claim they knew nothing about us. Even talked to the owner Amy last week and she said it’d be good to go. Even texted John to confirm the night before. Now that we’re all here John says he knew nothing about it and the wait is over an hour. I called Amy on her cell phone, she was apologetic and said she’d call John to straighten it out. No getting by John though, he still refused. John needs to stop drinking on the job. Huge attitude from this guy.
