Talk about going the extra mile! Benchmark installed an automatic car starter on our new vehicle in August of 2016. In July of 2017, we had an issue with the vehicle not starting. This issue occurred on three separate occasions dating in July, September and October. The dealership we got the vehicle from claimed it was due to the car starter. After two towing trips back to the dealership, we talked to Benchmark about it. They did some quick investigating and said it was a bad relay, not they’re starter. The dealership would not listen. Tim and the gang from Benchmark purchased the relay, drove thirty miles to and from the dealership two days in a row, replaced the relay, and got our car running without a problem. They even drove the car back to their shop so we could pick it up there, which saved us an hour of our time. Benchmark only charged us a total of $33 just to cover the cost of the parts. They went above and beyond to rectify a stressful situation by providing superb customer service. We thank you Benchmark for all that you did for us.
Great service got me in quickly and very friendly people
very good and friendly, went in on a budget hooked me right up. I didn't have them install did on my own ran into a couple snags went there 3 days in a row asking for help and without even hesitating they went right out to my Camaro and hooked me up no ?'s asked or charges. all said and done everything setup he had his guy tune everything for me and its been a very pleasurable experience for me with these guys and I will continue to spend with these guys. I had a remote start installed on my vehicle. Giving 2 stars because scheduling was simple & drop off was easy. However, when I dropped off I specifically told the associate to lock my keys in my vehicle, because I had an extra set. When I went to pick up my vehicle, my spare set of keys was no where to be found. I picked up after hours, and left a message on the answering machine. The next morning, I receive a return call from the associate letting me know they left my keys in my fuel door. I reiterated that I told them to lock them in my vehicle, very specific and easy instructions. They said they would search for them in the parking lot. They were never found. While driving my car the next day, my trunk pops open, hazard lights are flashing and my alarm is going off, WHILE DRIVING! I send my husband over to rectify this for me because at this point I am so angry. The associate said to him that I told him to put the keys in my fuel door, and decided to argue. After him waiting there for an hour to reprogram the vehicle, they said everything is working accordingly. As for the keys, the manager offered to replace the keys. I have had no issues since. I appreciate them rectifying my concerns but I am very displeased with the lack of customer service and attentiveness and quality of work. I had been inconvenienced more than I ever should have with this business. I hope they LEARN from their mistakes and these reviews to make other customer's experiences better. Thank you.
