Not so friendly staff. The lady staff was worse.

Whenever I have to fly out of Elmira/Corning 6am and driving from Rochester and weather and fog iffy, I stay here. Have been coming here last 5 years off and on.

I have never found a better valued motel. This is always my first choice when I stay in the Elmira/Corning area. At a very competitive rate I can get a clean room with a private entrance, refrigerator, microwave, cable TV, and complimentary coffee with pastries in the morning. The location just off of route 17/86 is near numerous restaurants and a shopping plaza. And the staff is friendly. The buildings are a little old but I can live with that for the money I save.

Hey, it's clean, cheap and secure. Owners are polite and pleasant. I don't need frills. It's an old hotel but then again I am an ole lady.

Stayed here in march 2015 and may 2015. I love the price. Its true you get what you pay for, but I found the room to be simple and clean. Flat screen and fridge and microwave in every room. Its true the hotel is a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. The owner was very nice. The location looked and felt safe. Close to everything. Its apparent that the owner is trying to keep a nice place. I was pleased over all, especially for the price.

If you're not here by accident, then you're here for the wrong reason. Bad bed, bad lighting, toilet takes 4 flushes, shower didn't work, no hot water. Bathroom sink wouldn't drain, which probably contributed to the dank stink throughout. Only the sound of the clanking poorly functioning air conditioning was able to distract us from the insane noise of the highway and associated on and off ramps conveniently located right outside the filthy windows. And here's the thing: we are NOT picky travelers by any means, but if we happened to have a tent, we would feel a lot better about our choices. Pass this by unless you like this kind of thing for some reason. By the way, we checked with the front desk and endured the chlorene masking air, and it turned out parking is free. We foolishly did not just spend the night in our car in the parking lot (or any other parking lot for that matter). Caveat emptor.
